PhD-arbeidet og forsvaret ble godkjent av bedømmelseskomiteen og Ingrid er nå PhD i strømningsteknikk fra NTNU. Komiteens medlemmer var Prof. Stefan Riedelbauch fra Universitetet i Stuttgart, Dr. Sølvi Eide fra Sweco og Prof. Jan Øverli som administrator. Prof. Torbjørn Nielsen har vært hovedveileder, mens Dr. Morten Kjeldsen (FDB) har vært delveileder. Arbeidet har tematisk tatt for seg trykkpulsasjoner, kavitasjon og strømningskontroll i vannkraft- sammenheng. Ingrid fortsetter som Flow Control Specialist i Flow Design Bureau AS, og vil være sentral i flere pågående og nye teknologiutviklingsprosjekter hos FDB.

The PhD work and defenses was approved and accepted by the PhD committee and Ingrid is now a PhD in Flow machinery from NTNU. The members of the committee included Prof. Stefan Riedelbauch from the University of Stuttgart, Dr. Sølvi Eide at Sweco and Prof. Jan M. Øverli (NTNU) as the administrator. Prof. Torbjørn Nielsen (NTNU) was the main supervisor and Dr. Morten Kjeldsen (FDB) the co supervisor. Thematically the work addresses pressure-pulsations, cavitation and flow-control techniques in a hydropower context. Ingrid continues as a Flow Control Specialist at Flow Design Bureau AS, and she will contribute in ongoing and new technology development projects at FDB.
